The plant photographs in this collection of were mostly shot in three portions of the Idaho Botanical Gardens in Boise: (1) the Firewise demonstration garden, (2) the Waterwise garden, and (3) the Lewis and Clark native plants garden. Most of the images uploaded were edited and formatted in shapes and sizes needed to meet the needs of a specific graphic design project (hence the smaller file sizes, as well as the hexagonal or round shapes of some of them). The original images are available in much larger file sizes. If you're interested in larger files or files that have not been digitally manipulated with filters are these have been, please contact me. I have MANY more plants from the gardens as well as many photographs of native and non-native plants in the wild or in other gardens, so if you're looking for something in particular, let me know and I'll see if I have what you need. If it's important to verify the species/scientific names of any of these plants I can track that down at your request--otherwise, it will probably be a while before I have time to do that.
